Regional Sales and Business Development Manager

 

In view of our business expansion, 9GAG is looking for an aggressive individual with an entrepreneurial mindset to join us as Regional Business Development Manager to maximize our commercial opportunities and commercial product development.  
This is a business development + sales role based in Hong Kong.


 

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with Operations and Editorial teams to develop commercial products for the APAC markets 

  • Develop strategic sales outreaching strategy, whitelist and prioritise sales prospects,  develop proactive proposals and follow through potential leads.

  • Deliver on revenue targets by identifying new business opportunities and managing these opportunities through to close
  • Lead ideation and brainstorming sessions to help crystallize ideas into actionable campaign solutions.

  • Work alongside Operations teams to ensure optimal and timely proposal creation and execution, including inventory forecasting, media trafficking and ad ops follow-up.

  • Collaborate with Community team on partnership opportunities, liaising with distribution and content partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline.

  • 7+ years experience in developing integrated, data-driven marketing / digital advertising solutions.

  • Business experience in the digital media industry with relevant contacts with (digital) advertisers.

  • Self-motivated; exhibits strong self-management skills with a strong sense of urgency. Has the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

  • Strong grasp of Keynote, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Good project management skills. Has the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent grasp of English. Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively on a cross-team basis.

  • Knowledgeable of the latest digital advertising trends and fast-paced social media scene.
